Themed Parties- Movie themes, dress up parties, art
parties (where we just make some type of preschool art), listening to
old radio shows
Reading Plays- reading plays is much more fun with a group of people.
Making Movies- 24 hour film contests don’t
need to only happen officially! Plus we could improv scenes and tape a
mini-movie. Then there is my choose-your-own-adventure DVD plan.
Movies- Not just any movie nights. In the spirit
of Dear Reader, I plan to watch movies in a different way than the
normal ‘watch until everyone falls asleep mode’. A small
list would be: * Making fun of B movies (Mystery 3000 style) * Watching
a scene, then acting out what we think will happen next. * Movie
Marathons * Movie Discussions
Geocaching- This free type of event is always a fun way to explore the world.
Game Nights- My Portland buddies Vic and Katie had
a thing called game club. They’d meet every week and play a
variety of board games. Way awesome!
Frugal Feasts- Back at the St. Johns Young Adult
Group we had this event. I liked the name. Basically everyone chips in
$2. Then you go to the store together and buy some meal for a feast.
Good times. Just like a potluck, but cheaper.
Improv Sessions- Play around and make up stories!
